This was a really cool commission!

This is the smallest miniature food I've created so far, we chose 1:48 scale . . .

The Corgi Ocado Van, we decided, would look best with miniature food created in 1:48 scale. (Quarter inch scale) . . .

My brief was to create a 'Miniature Delivery' to coincide with their launch of the Ocado Corgi Toy Van range, of their own life size delivery vans. It would be issued on the first of December 2008, to newspapers; and online 'news' pages. They wanted me to create a typical 'Christmas Shop' with miniature food items replicating an average family's weekly order. Items had to have the correct colour carrier bags, with some of the loose food items stacked into Ocado 'totes' (the containers used to deliver your shopping in). The launch would coincide with the announcement of their Christmas delivery slots. As it was also sent to the Times newspaper, I created a 'current' Times newspaper the day before the shoot, which was to take place at the miniature village of 'Bekonscot' - a fabulous place to visit by the way!

Ocado's excellent service provides a greener, reliable and convenient way to shop here in the UK.
